Poster Session:

News: in order for us to organize the contents properly, we ask to those of you that will be presenting a poster to send us, by may 15th, the title and an abstract with enough information to understand the contribution of the poster. The Poster Session is an opportunity for the volunteer students to present their current research and receive feedback from the other students and Lecturers. The session is organized in two parts. During the first part, each student will give a vey short presentation (3-5 minutes, 1-5 slides) about the specific topic he/she addresses in his/her poster and why it is interesting for the audience. During the second part the students will be explaining their work as in a regular poster session. There will be arrangements for everybody to have the opportunity to visit all the posters.

There is no a standard format for the dimenssions of the poster or layout of the slides.

We are trying to provide a cash price for best student poster. More news on these will be available shortly after the early registration deadline. Stay tuned.

Practice Sessions:

Every lecturer will manage the practice session in a different way, from Hands-On computer exercises/projects to direct discussions with the students related to their research lines. A detailed description of every practice session will be given during the month of May in this page. In any case, a laptop with Matlab will be highly recommended. A pen-drive or CD will be distributed with all the needed material for the sessions. More requirements will be announced as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
